“As a resident taxpayer of Mantua Township and a proud parent raising young children here, I understand first-hand the need for maintaining affordability and keeping our municipal property taxes in-check.
My life skills, professional experiences and advanced education have shaped my commitment to proactive planning, fairness, transparency and responsible leadership.
I believe strong communities are built when we listen and learn from each other.
I am running for Mantua Township Committee to serve with integrity and to ensure that our community continues to thrive for families today and for generations to come.”
More About Kyleigh
-
As the daughter of a hardworking union tile setter who put my sister and me through Catholic school, I learned early the value of discipline, sacrifice, and responsibility. Those lessons stay with me today. I will work diligently to lower costs and keep our municipal tax rate stable. Like many families, my husband Chuck and I sit at the kitchen table reviewing our bills and planning for our future, and we feel the impact of rising costs. I understand what it means to make tough financial decisions, and I will bring that same careful, practical approach to our township budget.
-
I have always supported our law enforcement and emergency responders. Their dedication and sacrifice keep our community safe, and they deserve our respect and continued support.
-
With a degree in wellness and as a Certified Health Education Specialist, I am passionate about helping others live healthier lives. I’ve volunteered in our local schools during Wellness Week, to teach children about nutrition and healthy choices, and I want to expand those efforts to serve residents of all ages.
-
Coming from a family of volunteers, giving back is extremely important to me. I will continue to support and look to help enhance our wonderful community events, while also encouraging more residents to get involved and share ideas to strengthen our township.
-
My husband Chuck and I chose to raise our two young children here in Mantua Township because we believe in this community. While Chuck volunteers his time coaching, I decided to run for Township Committee to help ensure Mantua remains a great place to live and raise a family. I understand that leadership requires balancing different priorities, and I am committed to making thoughtful, responsible decisions that benefit our entire community.
-
I am also deeply committed to supporting our seniors. Inspired by my grandmother, who represents strength and resilience, I will continue to advocate for programs and services that keep our senior community active, engaged, and connected.
